Dallas Mavericks - Keeping Fans Connected

Overview

The Dallas Mavericks partnership with Vibes sought to actively engage fans with their franchise, both in-stadium and on a day-to-day basis.

Challenge

In addition to exploring ways to heighten in-stadium interactions between the team and its fans, the Mavericks sought to provide a way for fans to remain connected to franchise on a daily basis.

Solution

Fans who attended the game were offered a complete mobile experience that included the opportunity to have their personalized messages appear on a large video screen while entering the stadium, the chance to answer trivia questions during pauses in the action and the option to enter a sweepstakes whose prizes include future tickets and a variety of Mavericks merchandise. Home viewers were also engaged through trivia and voting opportunities and both sets of fans were prompted to opt in to receive daily Dallas Mavericks alerts, keeping them connected to the franchise throughout the season.
